One of my resolutions after I finished my thesis was to spend more time with art. Evidently that was not true — I have only been swamped with new things to plan and be busy with. However, I decided to try my hand at creating a comic strip to comment on and reflect upon my 4 years studying at Harvard, seeing how that is all coming to an end soon with graduation. I think about how America had shaped my relationship with Singapore, and how that aspect of my identity only felt reinforced by the experiences here. I hope this slightly unconventionally formatted reflection resonates a little with people who study overseas. Enjoy!
