I like texting

You misunderstand me. Not on Whatsapp, telegram, messenger, or other up and coming social apps. I mean the kind of texting that has gone extinct to children like me, like MySpace or Facebook (which I keep obligatorily on my phone for work). The kind of texts that exist in the limbo between toggling privacy settings in secret chats and the laborious finger trembling letter-by-letter taps on the Nokia number keys. Easy enough to enunciate, easy enough to make spelling mistakes that you can only remedy with a follow up *

No take backs, nothing to edit, nothing to unsend. Unthreatening green bubbles on the iPhone screen. Uncomplicate the politics of conversation.
