Rain clings to our
Legs and arms
— Jealous lover,
Prying eyes we are not
Safe from even under
Tarpaulin cover.
It plants heavy
Claiming kisses and
Blows on wet marks
Cooling seared flesh
And we
Shiver
In our traitorous bodies,
Hair rising at the
Unwelcome caress.
What have I got into?
When did we
Trip and entangle with
These desperate
Cords of wet hair
And seething envy
Of unsightly feelings?
